i think it will take the people, uniting, and accepting each other, to bring about alot more peace, but there always going to be some,,, who want to fight, this has always been true, some of them are within certain religions, i just dont see a total peace ,,,, but the religions themselves could make a great change,,,, and yes have all the religions not fighting each other, trying to one-up the other etc
and the way that we as individuals can do our part, is within our own religions, by speaking of tolerance for others

If there were an overwhelming power that came to the earth and demonstrated that it could do anything then everyone would accept this must be god. This would unify all religions for sure, at least temporarily. However as this is kinda unlikley scientists are working on artificial intelligence and supposedly in about 15 years time they will have created a thinking computer that will be unstoppable in its power and apparently it will be a man made god. Maybe this will bring unity?

you cant due to the fact each religion will try to say their god is the right god, that their practises are the right practices...

the only way to make the world live at peace is to get rid of religion and society structures... tho this wont happen because the rich wanna be rich, the poor can't get on their feet and the politicians and monarch will spin their lies to keep the world at war

It has to start on a personal level. If every single person on this planet believed and practiced peace we would already have world peace. I do believe and practice world peace, here's one of my motto's: I might not agree with your opinion but I would die for your right to say and believe in your opinion.

Separation of religion and state. Notice that the most violent of the religious atrocities are committed by theocracies such as medieval Europe or modern day Islamic governments. Ironically, religions flourish in a state with a secular government, such as the United States of America.

Unfortunately there is no solution , there are obvious solutions ! but it can't be implemented just for the simple reason that in every religion there are your extremists that are so entrenched in what they believe to be the hole and only way to be and get read of every one else , and while they exist, all we can do is tolerate them and is up to us to control the situation and maintain the peace the best we can
