I didn't even go shopping. I was going to wait all night with my boyfriend at best buy, but then I got sick so I stayed home. I did not have fun last year doing it and probably wouldn't have had fun doing it this year. Such is life..

It was crowded and crazy as expected. I slept in and didn’t start going to the stores until 3PM. HAHA! Late, I know. But I figured since the stores are going to be open late anyway, why not go later, after the mad crowd from the morning. I know that if I got up early enough to do the 6- or 7-hour sales in the morning, I would not get what I want anyway, so why even try. I’d much rather sleep in.

On Black Friday, I went to Target first to pick up some DVDs I had wanted (I actually got ‘em!), then went to Circuit City to pick up my web order, and then off to the mall! Well, the sales weren’t even that good this year. I wasn’t planning on buying a laptop, desktop computer, LCD or plasma TV, or anything big like that, so there wasn’t much I had wanted. The mall sales weren’t even that great. All I ended up with was a (light) jacket & a dressy top from the clearance racks at Macy’s. Macy’s didn’t even have the extra 10% or 20% off special if you paid with your Macy’s card, which sucked!!

All in all, Black Friday was cool because I got to do what I love, go shopping!! But I didn’t find any extra special deals or anything of that sort.

Not bad for me. I don't want anything bad enough to shop at 5 am, so the kids and I went around 10 and got lots done in just a few hours. We also got really good prices without all the craziness! We had fun.
