I got one on my lower back,and i personally thought it somewhat hurt. The outine was a bit worse,then the coloring in wasn't that bad,cuz since the tattoo artist is "coloring in" he's just moving back and forth and it pretty much goes numb. As with the outline, he's drawing long lines...that's why it hurts i think. BUT,everyone is different,and i had a friend who thought it really didn't hurt,only irritated a bit. So i guess you'll have to see when you get there, but be prepared nonetheless for it to hurt a bit. No matter what though,it is bearable and when you see you finished tattoo,it's totally worth the 2 hours of pain!!! (or however long yours may take)

Yes it hurts, I got one done on the lower part of my back and you will need help caring for it. but if that's were you want it go for it. one more thing hope you have a high pain tolerance

Yes it's going to hurt because there is not alot of tissue there. It's mostly muscle.

yes but try using a local anesthetic won't hurt as bad.
