I used to be mean until I met a really nice person. She is really nice and is popular at school. SHe made me a nicer person. Now I help everyone who needs it. I'm kind of poplular now and yeah. The "popular" peopole think it's wrong that I'm helping evryone! What the heck is wrong with them?I don't want to be popular anymore

Deep down inside you if you feel you have become a better person and this is how you should be then stop caring about what others think. In the end its better that you are a better person rather than a bad one. Yes you are popular,thats the perk. You should be happy that you are helping people because your life is becoming richer and more fulfilling. Trust me, it will all come back to you in a very good way !

Sadly, more people than not are selfish and self absorbed. I know exactly what you are describing. I used to work in a wine shop and right in the middle of talking to a customer, their phone would ring and without as much as an 'excuse me' they would answer their phone and turn away. I would just walk away from them. Others would bring their bratty kids into the store and let them run around like maniacs until they broke something. In many cases it's the people with money that are the worst. They don't appreciate what they have.

Good for you helping others has its rewards it gives you a good feeling inside and no one can take that form you not even the popular people. Doesn't it feel good to be nice and popular, once popular always popular.

Start hanging around the "non-popular people". the popular people will get mad and not want to be hanging around oyu. act like yourself and dont try to be someone oyur not. GOOD LUCK
