I'm a female and I've been with my boyfriend for 3 months. I get along with my parents fine and I can talk to them but when it comes to this subject its a little difficult. I'm very cautious about who my parents meet and I always said that I would never have them meet just random people and that I didnt want them to meet any of my boyfriends until I knew for sure that I really wanted to be with him. Well I've finally come to that point and I want to tell them but I'm having a little trouble approaching them with it. I cant seem to find that perfect opportunity. I've met his parents and I want to be able to return that to him. He knows I needed time to do it and he's been very understanding but I'm ready now and I just cant seem to get around to doing it. Any suggestions or ways to drop hints would be appreciated.

BE VERY HONEST AND CALM WITH YOUR PARENTS WHEN YOU DECIDE TO TALK TO THEM ABOUT YOUR BOY FRIEND.PARENTS ARE VERY UNDESTANDING AND LOVING FOR THEIR KIDS.SO GO AND TELL THEM NOW AND GOOD LUCK.AND LET US KNOW WHAT HAPPENED.

The best way to bring to do it is remind them of how you've listen to there talks about having boyfriends. That is if your parents where anything like mine. lol! Reassure them that you've listen to what that have taught you and that you've been lucky enough to of found a great guy and that you would love to share that part of your life with them. They will be grateful to know that you respect them enough and care about them to want them to be involved. The rest will fall into place!!

Get your parents together and say to them, I have a boyfriend, and I would like for you to meet him. and leave it at that, either they will say okay, or they do not want to. so I hope it all works out for you!

if your'e really serios about him, and you have as good as a bond as you say you do with your parents, then plain out tell them. It makes your bond better and when they know they will see how you are good for each other. event if it doesn't work out with this guy it will be much easier with the next.
