I don't give my e-mail address out. Why? because some one could sign me up for things (it happened before) and probably could change my password and also some company could sell it if they find it. If I knew you well I would give it to you.
It's not smart to give out your email address. When I make new friends (Not on here) I would give it to them after I get to know them and I know they will be a friend. But most likely a lot of people won't give it to you.
