Why did old man jenkins steal my flamingos off my lawn?

he said he needed them for the big race, can you clarify what he meant?

Yeah the Flamingo 500 runs every year in his front lawn...gotta have those flamingos to pretend there is a cheering crowd! he will return them after the after race party...tho they might have a few scratches on them!
