i don't see how it could be possible. it's like me barely knowing someone and saying "this is my friend." obviously they're gonna be thinking 'i'm not her friend!'.

how about feeling sorry for someone and helping them alot really not your friend but going help them anyway and because of the fact you help them they will count you as a friend

Absolutely!!! You find out who ur friends are in time of need..watch..next time you need one of ur friends in a pinch, you find out who they really are, You may catergorize them as friends, while they will call you a neighbor, co-worker,aquaintance..follow..
