I have to clean four very dirty rooms in two hours with no help, what should I do?
(company is coming over)

try to make it fun, play music and start dancing it will be in no time that you will have a clean home!

Grab a laundry basket and walk around all rooms, throwing anything that doesn't belong into the basket. Stick basket into closet for later.
In bathroom, wipe down sink and pick up any clothes on floor.
In kitchen, put all dirty dishes into dishwasher. If no washer, put them into the drainer and put drainer under sink, wash later.
Bedrooms, pull covers over bed. Doesn't have to be perfect. Close the doors to the bedrooms.
Vacume main areas.
Light candles and turn down lights. Dim lighting hides a lot of problems.

Get a garbage bag and go through the rooms and throw out all the garbage. Then start laundry (if there is any) and grab your vacuum and vacuum the rooms. Remember to move furniture. Then get a slightly damp rag to dust with. If there are any little dust bunnies left after the dusting, vacuum again. Then clean the kitchen and bath, and get a hot sudsy bucket of cleaner (I use Lysol) and mop.

pick up extra stuff and throw it into baskets, shove it under the furniture, etc. and vacum extremely quickly if a surface doesnt look too dirty dont bother cleaning it and spray lots of febreeze and work as fast as posible dont be too picky over the tiny things ( you can work on details in the end if you have extra time)

well i start with the kitchen that is where i start when i clean daily, and then the living room, bedroom, then i would dust first then vaccum, and then mop with fabuloso that stuff is great and smells good, then i vaccum one more time, and then i do the bathroom, and a hint sweetie dont let it get so bad, and make sure you have lots of garbage bags :)

One corner at the time ,you do what you can if they are coming to look at the house they should stay home good luck.

play music, make up a pattern like i would clean these first ,then these second etc, it make time fly.

with that, pre-tend it is TURKEY DINNER, and you are making in the bird- STUFFING...
Stuff things in closets and drawers, it works for a short term fix...
But it never makes for great permanent results...lol
