Yes, but sadly..it is partially our fault that they are going to inherit this mess.

yes and no. I feel that same sympathy for past and the present generation. The world's history doesn't march in a straight line
esclating. It dances to the piper in a circle, knowing full well it must pay the price or everyone but then pays the price they evoke. Ah ha ha ha it dances in a circle of intelligence with wisdom without love
And so my sympathy is with every generation without this
wisdom and love and the capability to see Life in depth though
our struggles.

Absolutely, we have done a wonderful job of hammering our world. That knowledge is being passed on to an even more ambitious and greedy generation. We have accepted that taking advantage of people and doing ANYTHING for a buck is alright. No matter the circumstance. We can not do a thing about it, it is too late. We, merely, have to sit back and watch the chaos.

I feel sympathy for what our future generations are going to have to face about this world. Over population, increasing crime, pollution, global warming, lack of necessary nature, etc...

Yes very much so...I also agree with the points made about having children. Its like when you hear physically beautiful people saying its about the beauty on the inside that counts or when authority figures tell us not to use violence to solve problems when they make wars and kill the innocents. The people who make the rules do the opposite to what they tell us to do and the truth is so blatant to see. Sex and violence are what society is built on and to teach children otherwise may save their innocence longer but will only confuse them and dissapoint them in the long run. I should have been educated to be a ruthless amoral, mofo and id be president by now. It hurts having a soul.

As people grow they gain knowledge and knowledge is power and power is the ability to change things, so no, no sympathy just apprehension for the less knowledgable.

Yes, but i'm also wishing all the luck to them and assured that someday, when the world has more knowledge about its current position in the universe, they will help make a difference to ultimatley answer THE question.

I think they will evolve with the changes as we have, as we are a product of the past generations and have had to adapt. It is a natural sense to survive in ones current element, whatever it may be...

No. You imply the world is a bad place to be born into, but as there is no alternative, your question strikes me as fallacious.
