As an Army vet, I traveled coast to coast and overseas. I couldn't wait to get back home. Charlotte, in particular, has changed a great deal (good and bad) due to the large number of people from other states. NC has managed to retain Southern ways in spite of these modern times. I can still see farms from the highways. You have the ocean on one side and mountains on the other. Are you moving here?

North Carolina is better than South Carolina because it is bigger, and everyone knows size matters. For the same reason, Virginia is better than West Virginia.

lived there for 14 years and loved every minute of it. now i live in europe and am terribly homesick for North Carolina!

As a 16 year old and living there for 2 years I found it to boring so I conviced my mom we should move, but I did find it beautiful clean but just to slow paced to tolerate.
