These are a few details I know about the movie that may help you help me...I remember seeing dinosaurs walking in a group for a long period of time searching for a new watering ground...They are being chased, I believe, by T-rex's, 1 scene shows a dinosaur stomping on the dry ground and water rises up to give a female dinosaur a drink...I believe the females "brother" dinosaur is the leader and is very hard-headed!

If it's animated, it sounds like it might be Land before Time. Which one I don't know though, because there are like fifteen now! If it's not animated, it's probably this Disney movie Dinosaur. I remember seeing a similar commercial like that for Dinosaur. I hope this helps you!!

The movie is called Dinosaur. It's a Disney movie that came out in 2000 or 2001. The main character is Aladar(the one who presses into the ground and water rises up) he and his family or Lemurs are traveling to find new nesting grounds after a meteor shower. They are being chased by Carnatours, something close to a T-rex. and the female dinosaur is named Neera, and her brother is Kron, and yes, he is EXTREMELY hard-headed.
It's an awesome movie.

Don't listen to anyone who tells you any answer besides this one: the movie is Dinosaur. Its a Disney movie and came out in 2000 or so. Its okay...

The Land Before Time by MCA Universal Studios. If the characters Littlefoot, Cera, Spike, Ducky, & Petrie sound familiar. There is also a second one - The Land Before Time II (The Great Valley Adventure).
