It's called vapor deposition. Sublimation is when a solid goes directly to gas.

the most common form of this is called "meteorological deposition" which occurs when water vapor turns to frost.

Its Sublimation. Freezing is only when it goes from liquid to solid, not gas.

I think you mean....condensation....when a gas turns to a LIQUID. I think all have to go from gas to liquid then to solid, especially with just temperature...like water.....
