I have no idea what your relationship with your mother is like, but I bet you telling her will be better than her finding out next time she needs to rely on credit to get something... like a mortgage, or even a job.

Getting into credit trouble is all too easy to do...unfortunately you aren't alone. You may have been a little immature in your approach when racking up the debt... but I think the way we all become mature is to go through some of these experiences like you are experiencing.

Please just understand how important credit is... and know it can be fixed!!

Regardless of your relationship with mom... being honest and growing through this experience is the best way for you to honor yourself.

Feel sorry for the situation you are in... but feel good that you can work your way out of it.

Hope this helps...

You should tell her about it ASAP and beg her forgiveness because that's called Credit Card Fraud and sometimes its necessary to file charges to absolve her from the debt.

Ummm, I'm thinking the truth would be the best method...with an apology, or two, or a lot. That's a bummer, sorry, and I hope it goes well in the end (or as well as possible). Good luck!

Sit her down and tell her calmly. Be ready if she gets mad, and try to work out something so that you can pay it off. But the best thing is to try and be calm about it. Good Luck.

Not fast enough

Seriously, this is the kind of thing that could not only screw you for a while to come, but your whole family.

You remember that car they were gonna let you drive? Repo'd!

Geez, that's big. Well, you messed up, so just get up the nerve to tell her. There's nothing much you can say except that you messed it up big. Good luck.
