if it proves out to be a van gogh and is in good shape it will go for well over 50 million if it is one of his that is considered to be in his better category of works it will top 100 million if it is large enough. Anytime another work of those artists who are considered to be masters at what they do is found the art world reacts just like the music world would react if there was a lost Beatles album found.. Is it good for art yeas because it keeps attention focus on the art field.
would it make a good book or movie that would depend on what the story of its recovery is and who writes the story if it is someone like Steven press field writing it then yes it would be a great book if and only if there is a really good story there to begin with
