I used to live here as well, and you might as well stay in Cleveland. There is nothing good except the 3 major malls: Easton, Polaris, and Tuttle. Even those are cringe worthy.

Columbus is your typical mid-west city. A friendly place that does not have much culture. Having "The" Ohio State University there will help a little, but overall a friendly place that people of middle management get their 2500 sq. ft. house and raise a family.

I would not speak so highly of any other city in Ohio. The state is a model for the ultimate conservative state. The city of Cleveland and all the surrounding areas have absolutely nothing to offer. Erie is disgusting, Akron and Canton have more crime than Los Angeles (per capita) and the sun never shines on Northeast Ohio.

The clouds move in around September and you will NOT see the sun until February.

Good Luck!

I have alot of family there. Make no mistake about it. Columbus is first and foremost a college town. The Buckeyes are Columbus. OSU this, University play that.

It is a very liberal, cultural and diverse environment If you are into lattes and culture, you will like it.

The landscape is flat, and the archetechture (sic) is what I call urban sprawl.

Coloumbus is a nice place to visit but not right for me.

the only real Air stress base left in Ohio is Wright-Patterson Air stress Base in Dayton. There could be some Air national take care of Armories around. nicely you in case you choose for to stay in Columbus it extremely is extremely helpful to to confirm with the housing officer and your commanding officer to be certain in the event that they have any venture with it. as long because it would not interfere inclusive of your job preformance, and you gets to and from the backside with none subjects they could no longer have a venture. yet each base is distinctive. So the final suggestion i ought to grant is like I pronounced, only verify with the housing officer and your commanding officer.

Dublin, Hilliard, and Upper Arlington are the best suburbs to live in. Excellent schools as well, among the best in the state.

Live and work in area. I am from the halfway point. Would never move back there.

It's a double bagger of a city. So boring unless you're a college student.

There is at least one shooting or one murder per day! True, very sad but very true. I live very close. So if you want to move to that area, move to the suburbs, not in the city. God bless****
