iTrip is the best and I find mine is near CD quality. Also they are making these things legal in UK next month I've heard.

The Griffin iTrip is really well designed.
It's the same size as the Nano and there are no wires.

I like the way I can use it around the house with the Nano in my pocket listening to the music on my home stereo. If I want to change track then I don't have to get out of the armchair like I would if the Nano was wired to the stereo !

Be aware though that it is ony compatible with the old style Nano,
it does not work with the version currently to be found in the shops.

Sound quality is fine.
In the car it's hard to notice any difference over a wired connector.

It is true that it takes some juice out of the iPod battery.
I just keep a car charger with a mini-USB connector in the glove box just in case.

There are lots available on eBay right now.
I bought mine and a second for a present for £17 each including postage from a UK seller.

I have a monster cable, monster being the brand. I gives you 9 differents stations you can pick from and charges the ipod while it's playing. It plugs into either a cigarette lighter or power outlet. The quality is great. I've heard with some of the others (the iTrip) style ones that it's sometimes hard to get it to transmit through the radio, and I've also heard they drain you battery really fast. Overall I've been really happy with my cable, I use it all the time.
This is the one I have:

Not sure if they are available in the UK. Hope this helps some.
