Of course it's normal to cry when someone you love hurts you... what's not okay, though, is if he's upsetting you all the time and/or you are constantly getting upset by him whether or not he's doing anything on purpose to upset you.

Everybody cries, so it's perfectly normal.
The important question, is whether or not this completely normal behavior has gotten out of control, and has become a problem for you. When you acknowledge the fact that many women can get yelled at by their boss without becoming an emotional basket case, but crumble into tears when a family member does the same thing, you realize that people can learn to control it.
If it is a problem, then you can probably work on changing your behavior a little bit at a time, once you understand what is happening, and how to change. My advice is to contact a professional therapist and go talk to them. You'd be surprised at how much insight they can give you into your behaviour...

I say yes it's normal. I cry every time my boyfriend upsets me. I think what we should be asking ourselves is, is it normal what they are telling us to make us cry? Sometimes we'll just being having a normal argument and he'll say something and the tears just start flowing whether I want them to or not or even if he said something uncalled for or not. I think it's just the fact we really don't like confrontation so we just get overwhelmed by it. There is nothing wrong with being emotional.

Sure its normal to cry when you are upset.
Hopefully you are not crying all the time, that would mean you are upset all of the time. If the tears continue you could eventually dry up until you cannot feel anymore, .

Yes. What's not normal is your husband upsetting you more than once to make you cry.

Are you an emotional person? Is he abusive when he upsets you? If you are emotional then it's just you and he's not over the top, but if he's rude or abusive then you hsould cry when he does that. Could you be pregnant? I was super emotional and cried all the time when I was first pregnant.

Yes, within reason. It depends on how he is making you upset. If he is abusive, you should not let that continue. Get out and get help. If it is just disagreements, then you should be allowed to express your opinions. Marriage must be a true partnership of equals, not a victim living with a bully.

Awww! I feel u, I used to be the same way until I began to be a little tougher, believe it or not they do not sympathize, If anything men take advantage of our emotions. I know that it is hard b/c that is your way of expressing yourself, (mine too) but try not to cry, u must be strong. Next time, leave the room, and do not let him see u cry.

Sure it is. I do, too, because it hurts the most when the person we love the most upsets us about something.

I use to be like that, but after 11 years, there has to be something earth shattering for me to shed a tear. Give it time...you'll harden up.
