There was a time that I'd have taken it. When I was younger, naive, and feared death.
Not anymore. I couldn't imagine living eternity while the world changed around me and those I loved died. I couldn't imagine eternity while technology developed in ways my brain could no longer understand.
Death is a natural part of life. It makes way for the new. That's how things advance in the world. It's the way things are supposed to be.
It's not something to be afraid of.

Not only no but hell no,The vampire is one of the most cursed and vilest creature that ever walked on the face of this earth. I can't believe that people would choose to drink the blood of others. I hate to think of the idea of my body being processed by a demon and never being trusted and never knowing love again. Also for all of you ladies and gentleman When your heart stops beating than there goes your circulation and what else do you think will happen when there is no blood circulation. So those ladies that are looking for a sexual encounter with a vampire will be very, very disappointed. As for you guys can you imagine having a very sexy woman in your arms and all over you and kissing various parts of your decaying body, and all you can do is drink her blood. Yea what a life that would be lol................. NO Thank You..............................

This might come across as kinda odd lol but i love the sound of the vampire part just not immortality, i'd hate to watch all the ones i love pass away all the time. Unless twas another vampire then i'd say yes :o)

Yes & no.
I would certainly enjoy being an immortal creature of the night, but i would also enjoy hunting them down in some sort of bizzare cyber-punk fashion.
If i were offered the chance to be immortal, and not have to drink human blood, then i'd go for it.
Otherwise no, i would hate to be a vampire, as the very nature of such a creature disgusts me.

Immediatly.
So much could be done in a imortality span of a vampire that it is unreal. You could serve yourself, or serve to better others. Rob a bank and keep the money yourself, or give it to a needy group?
Even survival would be simple. Wait around in a bad neighborhood. Wait for some pusher to threaten a child, or a pimp to rough his girls, or even a john to rough the girls. A meal from a vile bastard, and the world is short one less jerk.

An immortal vampire, bring it on. You could walk in daylight, and have all the nifty vampire powers, no soul (but then I can barely remember where I leave my -keys- half the time let alone my soul) no conscience and an excuse to kill people I don't like by the ned to feed.

Nope. I am already a night person, but I don't want to outlive my kids. Plus, the whole Ann Rice vampire doesn't exist. The vampires from folklore are ugly monsters that can't move their arms because they're too tired from digging their way out of their graves, or they exist on a spiritual level, and take our energy, not our blood. They cannot touch us or interact with us.

yes, i have already taken that offer from someone, however unwillingly. but being a Vampire does have its perks... especially if one is only part (not even half) Vampire, and can still go out into the sun (if only for a short while).

Sure, in a heartbeat. I've thought about living forever and that would be alright if it was the only way to do it. Watch out though, you're gonna get the ones who tell you that you already can live forever with christ.Takr the vampire way. More fun.

well....i had this dream the other night that i was bitten and was subsequently a vampire however...i still got old and as i dont eat meat ( Thats non meat eater but will now and again eat tuna or cod or something...therefore NOT VEGGIE..just non meat eater)
but i dont fancy sucking the blood bit! and also the chief vampire was not somebody fit or even somebody i knew but was a complete sranger him/her (just to keep equalitists happy) anyway it was a bad dream i thought..so stick immortality up your bum...it hasnt done joan rivers any favours!!
