My GRANDMOTHER is a picky eater. As youcan tell from my other question, please answer if you will, she has some pains.
I offered tea,apple juice, orange juice, and water.
She has refused all.
I want to give her a nice,soothing,warm massage while she is in town.
I need some help!

they say that when you get older you like the taste of food less, the taste buds do not work well and the appitate decreases. She may just not want anything to drink.

Ask her what types of juices or teas does she like, honey or sugar in the tea.
Ask her her favorite foods.

if she has aches and pains do not get the masage but how about getting her hair done and nails polished. or take her to a movie, the the wide screens and great seats.

Humans' tastes in food change about every 7 yrs, I've heard. So you might not like the same foods at 77 as you did when you were 17. Also, as you get older, some of your senses can wane. You don't hear or see as well. I suppose some people's tastebuds can grow dull too.

Let her eat what she wants. At her age it is unlikely that you can get her to change. You sound like a very nice grandchild.

You never know about old people....so ask her before getting her anything...
