Up to 6 MONTHS... sooner if the breasts are suddenly much larger (swollen), or you start to gain weight in the face and arms, and the curvature of the spine starts to increase... Some women just "look pregnant" right away, others you'd never notice until they're almost due.

Different for everyone!!!! My best friend is 8 months pregnant and you can't even tell in the least. I'm 7 months, and I look 9. With my first, you couldn't "tell" until 6 months. Then I exploded. My aunt is also pregant with her first, and you could tell around 14 weeks. There's no real way to say when a certain person will begin showing. Although a lot of times heavier people show later, and thinner people show sooner, for obvious reasons, but that's still different for everyone......

Everyone is different. Body size and shape make a difference. The clothes you wear can hide or show off your pregnancy. Also the growth rate of the baby. Believe it or not there are some women that you can't even tell they're pregnant. Just be patient and wait... before too long she's going to wish she was still a size 8.

I have never known anyone, including myself, to "show" at 6 weeks. The embryo is less than an inch long. As for how long it takes to show. I was visibly pregnant at 4 months, I had a friend that you still couldn't tell she was pregnant at 6 months. Everyone is different.

With my first child you could tell at about 12 weeks, i was very noticably pregnant. But im 28 weeks pregnant with out second child and if i wore a jacket you prob wouldn't think i was pregnant at all.

All different i guess, some people start to show earlier than others.

I'm on my third pregnancy and no one seemed to notice or started commenting until I was 21 weeks! If this is your friend's first pregnancy then she will most likely not show for a very long time.

She may not be noticable until about 5 or 6 months. Especially if it is her first. She will be able to feel her uterus before that, but for her belly to be big enough for everyone else to notice she will have to be further along.

Every woman is different. Smaller and thinner women usually show earlier...but some women show at 3 months , and some don't show until 5-6 months! With my first I showed at about 4 months...but with my current pregnancy, I showed in less than 3. One thing to remember though...If you do show early, it is not the baby...it is your bowels being extended, water retention and gas! Most commonly, women are buying maternity clothes by 5 months. Tell your friend good luck and congrats!

Usually you don't start to 'show' until about the fifth month.
It depends on the person. Some larger women you may not notice until the 8th month.
