tell me what exactly all the numbers mean in hockey. Ok so the CHL okc blazers are 6-2-2 right now and I know that the 6 is how many games theyve won and that the first 2 is how many theyve lost but what is the last number for ????????Here is what they're website says The Blazers are 6-2-2, with 14 points and in second place in the Northwest Division of the CHL.

The second 2 is for games lost in OT or Ties, if they still can tie. Points go 2 points for a win, 0 for a regulation loss, 1 for a ot loss.

The last number is for the games they tied. They got 1 point for each tie towards the league standings. 6 wins at 2 points each equals 12 points plus two points for two ties equals 14 points.

The last number is NOT ties it is the number of times they have gone into overtime, in the new rules they get 1 pt for goin into overtime 2 pts for a win and 0 pts for a loss. This is how thy calculate standings

6 is the win 2 for the lose and 2 for overtime lose there are no shootouts in the CHL.

ok they have 6 wins and 2 losses. the 2 is the overtime losses and the shoot out losses. they have 14 points in total. u get 1 point if u loss in OT or shoot out

the two is either for ties or overtime losses, depending upon how the league plays the games (to ties or until a winner is determined).
