Late at night. Alone in your room. In the bed. Lights off.
Suddenly, you see (or believe you see)
something blacker than the darkness.(!!!)
Shape : like a mist-fog , only 3ft (1 m) in diametre.
It slowly moves around the room and after a few minutes it
disappears.
During its presence no body movement was possible.
He wanted to yell but couldn't.
An 8 year old cousin told me about this experience.

Dose he have pets? it could have been his imagination, you tell your brain stuff, then you r so paranoid that you start seeing stuff. (Sometimes) Also he could have read this in a book or saw a movie like this.

More than likely vivid imagination, but it all comes down to the argument about the existance of supernatural beings and whether you believe in them. This could have been a dark spirit that was hanging around, or it could have just been the boy's imagination.

He could have been experiencing sleep paralysis or a peri-sleep hallucination. In sleep paralysis, your body has shut down in preparation for sleep, but your consciousness either has not gone to sleep yet or woken before the body has. This can be accompanied by some frightening dream artifacts.

You can read more about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sleep_paralysis

Just because a person can not explain something, does not mean that it is "un-explainable". Further most people, especially if they believe in the supernatural" are not willing to see if there is a natural and/or scientific explanation and in the case they find one, they are likely to rejected it for their beliefs. I have yet to see anything or hear of anything that could be actually termed "supernatural" .
