I work with computers (maintenance, assembly, configuration of computers i work with all windows and linux win98,me,2000,xp,2003 , serves Linux gnome kernel and others

Wow, from the responses I think you are better off not travelling to the UK. By the way the weather is rubbish and (as evidenced below) some of the people can be irritatingly ignorant and unfriendly. Do a lot more research before you decide to travell as you will most likely end up working in Burger king or Starbucks than with computers!

If you have accepted your job offer and have it in writing then I don't think you will have any problems with your work visa. I think you are worrying unnecessarily. Immigration also take into account any police checks they do on you. Your current finances so you will need to provide evidence of that. Where you will be living and your current job offer. My husband came here from the USA with zero qualifications or money. But I had to provide him with security as he did not have any access to public funding i.e. benefits of any sort. I do not think you will either so you might want to consider taking out medical insurance before you come here.
