What are YOUR OWN personal tips on staying safe @ the bar/club?

I'm male and 38. Males don't have too much to worry about except maybe talking to or flirting with some other guys woman, or pissing someone off so they want to knock your teeth out.
For women I would suggest that you practice preventative measures by not going to clubs to start with, but if you do go with a group of women and never go anywhere alone. Come in together, leave together, and don't go to the bathroom alone. Don't let men sit at your table even if they seem nice. Do not accept drinks from men, even if the waitress brings them to you or they think you owe them something in return. And above all don't dress provocatively and don't be a flirt. Mace and/or a tazer is suggested.

Never take a drink that someone other than the bar tender/waitress has brought you
Go with at least 2 other ppl and stay with them,never leave with anyone else
keep your drinks to a minamum,and don't go over
never leave your purse or drink unattended for any reason
If someone comes up to you and you carry on a conversation don't leave your drink on the table or bar with it out of sight keep it in your hand (when you look away another person could slip something into it
always have a cell phone, pepper spray and when going to your car at the end of the evening either keep the spray at the ready or put your car keys in your hand with the sharp point sticking out from between your fingers in a fist so that if you are attacked it can be a weapon

Watch your drinks, watch your friends, and stay together. Nobody leaves with Mr. Hottie alone! If some guy wants to buy me a drink, I go with him and watch it every step of the way. Look out for each other, too!

Always watch your drink. Don't accept a drink from someone unless the bartender or waitress gives it to you directly. If anyone harasses you, tell the bouncer. If you ever have to walk to your car alone, ask a bouncer and they will walk you to your car.

Always buy bottled liquor. Because it makes it harder for guys to put something in your drink. And if you leave a drink don't pick it up and drink it. Just get a new one! I've had friend get the date rape drug and nothing has happened to them because when us girls go out together, we leave together.

I go to the club with big, burly guy friends
I don't drink enough to cloud my thinking and I only have drinks that I buy myself, and I never leave those drinks unattended. If I do, I'll go buy myself another drink.
I NEVER agree to leave the bar with some guy I just met

Go with my friends, have fun, drink conciouslly and not relate with unknown people that are looking for something else.

Always go with friends. Also, don't leave your drinks unattended because people can spike it.
When someone approaches you, don't go anywhere with him/her alone
