i was sent a recovery disc(xp home) and its meant for my front room p.c but i still have another recovery cd for that one
now can i use the spare recovery dvd on my system ,i have done this once before but a long time ago and it activated ,no problems
so will it be ok to give it another try,i mean i am paying for this recovery cd as part of a warranty,so its not cheating anyone
any ideas

I see no problem with that.
Tip: get hold of the key so that you have a back-up.
There's numerous programs out there for helping you find what your key is.

Use the new disc to recover as it will already have a lot of updates that the original didn't have.

not at all...U own the copy mate..do wht eva u want and how many eva times u wanna install it...coz once u get ur hands on a copy of Win Vista..u wont hav this liberty....U can only install it limited no. of times......all da best..
