Yes, and they are not on their own. There are over 2 million people in Britain who have their phones tapped and everyone has their e-mail intercepted.
Don't think for one minute this has anything to do with the destruction of the twin towers, phones have been tapped for decades it is one of the penalties of living in a former colonial power but the sad point is those who govern us still think we are.

It is costing us billions but never mind don't worry about it go out and get drunk or play bingo and maybe the grey suited nit wits will one day go away and leave us all in peace.

I think that they have their code of conduct and terms of service to protect and may be a bit over zealous doing it. But it is their game and we need to try to play by the rules. I had a answer deleted today that probably did cross that line, but it was an honest opinion and the best I could do at the time. I accept it and will be a little more careful how I word my answers in the future. The reporting system that Yahoo uses is broken and I think that they are working on a fix, but it will probably take time to do this. There is a blog that they have that proves this. Many people are complaining about the reporting system. I hope this helps, just try to be careful how you word your questions from now on and maybe it will be fixed in the future. I am more concerned about the clones and trolls that are on here whose sole purpose in life is to report people because they disagree with their objective questions and answers.

Yes!!!! But questions/answers don't have to be sensitive. They censor for no apparent reason! There's a spammer on here, for example, who's posted the same thing at least five times that I know of and yet I just saw it a moment ago. Yet intelligent decent questions/answers are deleted all the time! I really can't explain it!

I guess maybe they have to censor some things, but I sure can't tell from participating on this web site what red flags they look for. I have seen words for every private appendage listed without being censored. I'd hate to do it personally, but I guess a good check to see would be to format a question with the F* word in it and see if they print it.

A lot of people will report your question as being offensive if they don't agree with you.
Yahoo doesn't read anything, if it's reported, they delete it.
You have to appeal the violation notice or no one will ever look at your question.
It's all automated and I doubt they read much of anything.

I don't think so because I have seen some questons on here that were very amazing. But maybe someone read it and reported it as abuse?

Of course it does. But it's a free service. What can you do? And what do they really owe you anyway? Don't let it bother you. It's just Yahoo Answers...
