What's the trick to changing the fuel filter in a 95 accord since the blasted thing's crammed in there?

FUEL FILTER
Removal and Installation
1. If applicable, write down the anti-theft code for the radio.
2. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
3. Cover the fuel filter fitting with a shop towel.
4. Properly relieve the fuel system pressure.
5. Remove the power steering feed hose.
6. Detach the engine wiring harness bracket.
7. While holding a backup on the filter, remove the banjo bolt from the fuel feed pipe.
8. Remove the fuel filter clamp.
9. Once all the necessary fuel lines, fittings, and fasteners have been detached, remove the fuel filter.
10. Installation is in the reverse of removal.

My comment is: The fellow who wrote the manual did this on a car that no motor had been installed in.

Do your best, and good luck to you. The arthritis in my hands wouldn't let me do it.

there is no trick...it's virtually impossible to change.It is so hard that some Honda dealers in the mid 90's told their customers that it was a lifetime filter...no joke!!You might be able to get on it with a special socket called a "crow's foot" but even with that it's a real *****
