The setup can take a long time especially playing with a custom built battlefield, but it is well worth it.

Quite a lot of people I hear. Haven't played in a good long while myself, the terrain is cool but just takes so much time to set up. Well worth the effort though. Despite some minor problems, quite an interesting game, and the pieces are quite lootable for other RPG/miniature games.

I didn't like it the first time I played, but then took it to the beach and my nephews played it with me a few times, and I am hooked. It does take some setup time, but it really is a fun game with lots of replay value.
I haven't yet tried the fortress expansion, but did pick it up.
