I'm a teen author, too. Getting published is hard, it takes a lot of time, money, and painful editing. However, if you can get your book(s) published, then you have as much of a chance for being successful as any other author. Just look at Amelia Atwater-Rhodes and Christopher Paolini! I would read it, assuming that it was a book I wanted to read, because I am not an author-snob. I have attached the website of my favorite author describing what it was like to be published. Just scroll down to getting published. Good luck!

Go ahead and write your book. You have as good a shot as the next person of getting it published. But don't expect to become famous. There are thousands of new books published every year.

I think if you want to be a famous author you can. Because you can do anything you want to do. Even if your book doesn't get published it doesn't mean that you don't have the potential. But if your book does get published I might read it but I would have to know more information about it.

I don't want to be discouraging or anything (meaning it is true for those of us who are extremely talented at writing) but it is quite difficult to get published at such a young age. I would say keep writing it, and once you're finished, edit edit edit. It can go many ways: maybe you try to get it published, it doesn't work out and you keep editing it. Or you start again. Or like the author of Eragon, you CAN get it published. :D you'll just have to go along for the ride and find out!

The same as anyone - you need a good agent or you could web publish and charge $1 per chapter after giving the first for free. As long as it's good you will get hits - advertise on MySpace or other blogspots to get traffic to your site. You may get a book deal out of it or more - BEWARE of anyone who offers to print your book but asks you to pay this is a vanity publishing hose and they are not obliged to promote or place your book anywhere for sale. Good Luck!

It's not impossible but it's highly unlikely unless your family has some connection to the publishing business. Good luck. Keep writing.

You can do it if you put your mind to it. Just look at the guy who wrote Eragon. He was a teenager when he wrote it, and now it's being made into a movie! Just stick with it.

First, you have to write the book, then you have to get an agent.
Then, if it is good it will sell.
Don't forget to copyright.
