Me & my bf have a child together, but he takes me for an absolute fool most of the time( owns a night club, stays out all night, takes coke, never compliments me... the list goes on!). My confidence has been pretty low and I'm also a bit scared of being on my own with a child ( though I'm a great mum!)
Today, someone( a guy i don't really know) said to me " you are worth so much more than that - you should listen to Beyonce, Irreplaceble and listen 2 the lyrics" I've not stopped listening 2 it since I came home and the power of music is AMAZING! I feel stronger and more confident already. Does anyone have anymore appropiate songs for my situation ( but not the obvious, cheesy "I will survive" types, something bit more up to date - lol):-)
Look forward to listening to your reccomendations and do something about my life, thx :-)

Well I would have to recommend listening to Madonna's Album Confessions on the dance floor. It's full of songs that can help you with your problem. For example jump can be very good but all of the album can help you. However if u have such serious problems with your boyfriend and more so you have a child in my opinion It would be best to leave him and try and find your own way in life. You said that you wished a more modern song however you do not seem in my open ion to be a modern mother. A modern women shouldn't be dependent on anybody at all. If you are a house wife I would advise you to find a job a leave that man. Do not forget that your child will have to suffer because of his behavior. It is not good to have a negative influence around the house. If you are a religious person go and pray for help if not just stay down on the floor and try and see your life without your boy Friend. SUFFERING IS NOT NECESSARY IN LIFE but it does help us see things for what they really are. Do think it worth causing suffering to you and your child?

Texting is private and intimate. Texting is the perfect way to create a private and intimate world between you and the man or woman in your life. Learn here https://tr.im/yR5SJ
For women in particular, texting can end up being a fun “game” where they can do or say anything (even things they would never do in the “real” world). Texting is non confrontational. Odds are your relationship ended on a heated note. I don’t know why you and your ex broke up, but there was probably at least one (if not a few dozen) big fights. Done properly (the way I’m going to teach you), texting is simple and subtle. You can slowly feed your ex tested and proven messages and ideas without the risk of either one of you flying off the handle, falling back into old and destructive patterns, and throwing plates at each other.

I listen to Lyfe Jennings I believe it's #27, the song says keep your head up and it takes about a woman taking care of her child the lyrics are awesome and when things were a bit tough for me I played the last 2 songs on that CD and I made it through a difficult time. I was worried about my oldest son moving to Canada and I wasn't feeling right about the move and for a week I listened to those last 2 songs and the third week he came back. Then too, nothing outweighs the power of prayer in any given situation. You have to believe in yourself and you can make it without him. Trust me, you can make it - Keep your head up.

A great way to get your ex back is https://tr.im/9Qvip
They might realize they need you and come crawling back!
If you do get back together, don't let the same issues that destroyed your relationship crop up again. Have a good, long talk about how you're both going to make it right this time.

wow... I was just having this conversation with my teen age daughter and her friend about how empowering most of Beyonce's music is...Do you know how to listen to music on the Internet... listen to just about all her songs they re either about her being in control or her flaunting what shes got to get what she wants either way very empowering and uh no cheese, I guarantee. Also the group she started out in "Destiny's Child" those were no submissive songs either.
Use the music to motivate you to change your situation, don't just sit around listening to it and then remain oppressed. Your child will eventually internalize the toxic relationship, and I'm sure you want better than that for them as well as yourself. Good luck, you can, and need to be in control of your own life...

Ani difranco
Fixing her hair, on the inperfectly album
Actually anything by Ani, she's pretty strong, and whenever I was down about my loser ex, I'd pop something of hers in, and sing along.
And now I don't really listen to here a whole lot.
I guess cuz I'm past that place where the lyrics speak to me
Good luck!

You know what songs aren't going to change your problem. You do deserve better and I promise u that u can do it on your own. I am a x drug user that has a child and I did it on my own.So if I can then u can...At the end u will feel so good about yourself and most likely find someone that treats u the way u should be treated. Please don't let fear rule your life. You'll find out that worrying about it and the anixety is worse then the actually thing u do. You can do it u just have to beleive in yourself and your love for your child.Good luck

I don't need a man... I think by the Pussycat Dolls, really catchy tune. Also, lots of songs by Pink are very strong womanly (she kicks ***). Some Anastacia songs kick *** too, like Left outside alone or Paid my dues etc...

go to family court ask for child support.leave him...find some one who will help you grow, and be there for each other..if you want some body home at night look in that direction..bar owners and rest/night clubs are a 24-7 operation..all most like dating your self.. or go get a job and hire a babysitter and go to the club a couple [ 2 ] nights a week..get a life in stead of waiting for him...besides do you want your child around coke???????????????
