You know darn well it means someting different when they use it to each other. IMO you can't talk enough about that tirade. We need to acknowledge that this kind of vitriol exists. It needs to be addressed. I just wish they'd all come out with it so we could know who we are dealing with.

The real lesson to be learned from the whole thing is the audience is supposed to respect the person on stage. If you do not like the show then get your money back but starting a problem and getting countrywide recognition for it is not the way to go. The two hecklers were wrong to interrupt the act. They deserve nothing and the media needs to wise up. Kissing up to those who disrespect others is not something to do.

It's defenitley blown out of shape as it always is when it comes to blacks . You can't put all the blame on the blacks because it's the whities that gave the blacks all the freedom and things they want . There will never be an end to the black thing now that it's gotten started . Before they are done they will surely bankrupt this country sucking the system dry . To me nigroids are like hemroids . Just one big pain in the butt.

The man apologized as best he could in press and on Letterman. He seemed sincere. Was it deplorable? Certainly, but the press wants to bleed these things forever. Furthermore, it is true that Afro-Americans call each other that every day, it is off-limits to us, however, if Afro-Americans want this word to die, they need to stop using it themselves. It will stay as long as it is used by anyone. The point is, people need to stop craving sensationalistic news, then the press will stop.

why is it no one is angry over the black man and woman who assaulted a white guy n the lobby after the show?
or why are not blacks angry at the black hecklers who called Michael Richards a "cracker @ ss"?
Seems so typical. Black people are immune to their own public displays of racism while intlerant to any reasonable response.
they seem to be very ignorant in deed and function.
Oh well, nothing new.

I totally agree that its taking up way to much media time. I also think OJ Simpson's lame excuse of a 'non-confession' is wasting our time. The idiots who thought it would be 'therapeutic' and 'a good idea' to give this man any publicity should be fired. OJ is guilty, we all know it, he knows that we all know it and will someday have to answer for his crime. Now get off my TV.

Hooray! Somebody finally said it. I think his outburst was very unprofessional for a long-time comedian, and he should not have let hecklers get to him, but the media, as usual, blew it all out of proportion.
