i have windoes xp when the computer goes on i picked a picture however when it is not in use the picture i like does not come up . just the black screen saying windows. so how do i get my picture to be a screen saver

Just right click anywhere on your desktop, select Properties, then
Screen Saver. Pick any of them you like. Good luck.

hello,

right click on your desktop, click properties, and click screen saver. Select your screen saver and after the selecetd time it will appear. If you are talking about desktop picture click on properties once again and select desktop and select your picture and it will appear. if you wish to get a picture of the internet hover over the picture, right click and press set as desktop background and there it will be.

Save all your personal pictures or pictures you like in a folder called my pictures it is under my documents, then right click on the screen go to property then screen saver then go down to my pictures slide show click on it then click apply.

On your desktop (the place with all of your icons and programs) right click on the free space hit properties goto screensavers then pick one from the drop-down list.

drop all windows and right click your mouse on the windows page. Go to properties and your find it there.

put your pictures in the "my pictures folder"
it's in My documents
Then when you go to your display (in control panel)
select "my pictures screensaver"
