20 weeks is a milestone, and after about 24 weeks, the baby is potentially truly viable outside the uterus (big deal to be born that early, but still possible).

Your chances of delivering healthy increase every week--I counted every week with each of my girls, so I know how you feel! Good luck!

It isn't so much that the chances are high, just that they are higher than in other trimesters. On top of that, more women deleiver healthy, happy babies than those that miscarry. Unless you are doing something blantently stupid (drugs, drinking poison, etc), miscarriages not something that you control. They are generally not something that you cause. Don't be worried! Take your vitamins, go to all your OB appointments and do what the doctor says. You are going to have a baby in 4 months!

dont worry unless you are doing anything to put the baby at risk there is no reason why you shouldnt have a normal healthy pregnancy and baby, at this stage i wouldnt worry, you have got past the worst part, keep a healthy lifestyle and make sure get all the nutrients you need for the baby to grow strong. avoid foods like eggs and nuts which arent reccomended in pregnancy, also dont eat too much red meat, eat plenty of fish. drink plenty of fresh juice, try and avoid drinking too much tea and coffee. take it easy and if you have any concerns contact your midwife.
