Im not much of a gamer but i like to pick up games once in a while and i though Rainbow Six: Vegas looked pretty cool. But i just got done beating Gears of War and i thought that was a very good level of challenge and i wouldnt want it to get any harder than that. So is Raninbow Six: Vegas A LOT harder than Gears of War or.......what??

yes much harder. Gears of war is so simple to play. Anyone can pick up the controller and just start kicking butt. Did you know that the guy who designed the game (one of the lead designers anyway) lost against a guy at the opening party who had never played the game before?
I never liked rainbow six at all. I always felt that the weapons were just too slow and the game was not forgiving at all to being hit by shots. I wouldn't put these 2 games in the same league as far as being easy to use.

I guess that depends on you. For me, I don't think Rainbow Six: Vegas was harder than Gears of War. I thought some parts of each were harder than the other so I'd say they're about the same level of difficulty.
EDIT: I'd like to also point out that, incase it might help, I play games on the highest possible difficulty so I have a hard time with them and get my moneys worth. I just like a really hard challenge with any game.

Rainbow six is always hard im not sure about Gears of war because my 360 got a error so im not able to play it until its fixed

it is harder then gears of war because of the difficulty they have which is realistic you die quicker then in gears but they are both great games to own.
