Bottle, when you have to go back to work it is so much easier I felt. And I never leaked nor had to undress to feed him outside of my home. But that is just me I am mega shy.

I hear that there are more benefits to breastfeeding, such as your baby being able to build up imunities to certain infections and such. I read recently that there are new mothers out there who cannot breastfeed (the baby was adopted or there is some medical condition preventing the mother from breastfeeding) so they've actually gone on-line and bought another woman's breastmilk. There's a big controversy out there about that, but so far, I've heard that the benefits of breastfeeding outweigh the cons.

breastfeeding!
Having a cold or flu is not a reason not to breastfeed. When you are ill, you pass those antibodies on to your child through the milk.
Breastfeeding is much more healthy for baby. Few ear infections, less tummy upset, reduces risk of childhood obesity, reduces risk for some cancers and more.
For mom it reduces risk of ovarian and breast cancers. Helps the uterus and body get back to pre-pregnancy size faster.
No bottles to wash or pack when traveling.
Formula is based on cow's milk. Cow's milk is made to grow the body fast so that the young cow can escape predators. It is not for growing intelligent minds. It is proven that breastfed babies average 10 pts higher in IQ than bottle fed.
Not to mention all that wonderful snuggle time with your baby. Oh, that has to be the best!

Breastfeeding is better. That is if you are able to do it. I couldn't. My daughter wasn't getting enough and I was constantly frazzled because I felt like I couldn't do anything right.
Changed to bottle, everything was fine.

They both work. I bottle fed my son and he only had the usual childhood illnesses. I breastfed my daughter for a month, and she had viral meningitis at 3 months. Not all women are able to breastfeed. Millions of people are alive today who were fed out of a bottle as a baby.

I bottle feed my son because I was always getting colds and the flu and the Dr. thought it was better. But I believe what ever the woman feels comfortable with.

Preferably, babies should be breast-fed. Some mothers can't become of low milk-flow or health problems, but breast milk is more easily digestible, provides the baby with a better immune system, is more nutritious and creates a bond between the mother and her baby.
