Sound like there is a loose wire in the mouse or your connection is loose buy another mouse they are cheap enough.This is the cord which you move the most and has tiny wires so this is most likely the cause.

Items should not be plugged and unplyugged into a running computer. In some cases it can be done, but there are steps to follow. You didn't bother to say if it was a USB or PS/2 mouse. Try that mouse on another computrer and this computer with a different mouse to see where the problem really is.

in case you should plug it into yet another port then it extremely is likely a venture with Drivers or abode windows is self. Re-installation the drivers and if that would not paintings purchase a clean mouse. wish i help, each and all of the final

if its a wireless mouse try replacing the batteries or move the sensor closer to the mouse.

That happened to me i unplug, i clean the ball it still happened i found out something inside was broken so i had to buy a new one.

that's a driver issue. better to reinstall the driver. if its plug n play, try to detect it again thru add new hardware
