First lets clarify freedom and personal. Personal means its close to you and has personal effects and desires. Freedom is tough. Michel Foucault and Marleu Ponty couldnt come close to explaining freedom so they tried to explain control and punishment.

Personally, personal freedom, its not an idea or ideology it is a habit that only the brave can ever acquire. Freedom from Evil, materialism, prejudice, earthly prisons and handcuffs, social reform. Basically Personal Freedom is going back to the essence of what makes us humans and to concentrate on our similarities instead of our differences. To celebrate together as humans not as different cultures but as the same species.

the action of not letting anyone else force you to travel in a path that you feel is unrighteous. in our society personal freedom does exist, however many people think it is not simply because there are many negative consequences that fall after some free acts. but this doesn't mean you are not free to do them. it just means that you must face the consequences afterward.

Personal freedom is being able to do what you want to do when you want to do it. You don't have to worry about what time you have to be at work or when you can take off. It also means being free of debt, because when you are free of debt you are really free.
