i think that Morneau should stay MVP.
As for the NL, Ryan Howard is a great player, we all know that. But Pujols deserved it more.
Ryan Howard may have hit more RBI, and HR than Pujols but him team didn't even make it to the playoffs. Pujols carried his whole team into the playoffs, and into the world series... and won it! Because of him (Pujols) the Cards won the world series. So i have no idea how or why Howard became MVP.
Morneau is a great choice because he's from an underground team, and he is an underground player. If you look at other teams their saying "Who the hell is Morneau?"
He's the first twin in over a decade to hit 30+ HR, he helped the Twins from 12 under the .500 to about 30 games over. He plays first base (not DH). Look at him now! He's a somebody. Around him he doesn't have much great hitters. All he has is Mauer, Torri, and Luis Castillo (an All Star) without Morneau the Twins are nothing.
Without Jeter, the Yankees still have A-Rod, Damon, Canoe, Abreau, Giambi, 26 Rings, and alot more.

Ryan Howard deserved the NL because 1. I am a Phillies fan and 2. Pujols may have had a great season, and i respect that (I am also getting to be a little bit of a cardinals fan) but Ryan had better stats then Pujols all around. For the AL, well to tell the truth I don't really pay attention to the AL much but I would've like to see Jeter get it, but as stated in a previous question he doesn't need an award to prove himself. Therefore I'm glad for Morneau.

NL MVP Carlos Beltran
HR 41 RBI 116 AVG .275 Runs 127 Hits 140 Doubles 38 OBP .388 SLG .594 Silver Slugger and Gold Glove award winner. He was outstanding defensively (Ryan Howard was not)and offensively he was great. He helped the Mets get to the playoffs, he is a five tool player, Howard did Neither of those. The MVP award is meant for a player that does everything good like Beltran not just one thing like Howard.

Well my MVP of the AL will be Jeter. His stats this year was amazing and won a silver slugger and gold glove award. Although Morneau had a good year, Jeter beat him in almost every stat except homeruns and RBIs. In the NL, i will give it to Pujos because of what he means to the Cardinals and he took them to the playoff. They both have similar stats, but Pujos scares me more than Howard Although i dont mind that Howard won.
To answer the second question,
AL- Jeter is the New York Yankees, so even with the 100% healthy roster, the leadership and determination of the Yankees in the hands of Jeter. They might win some games but it will not be the same.
NL- the Cardinals without Pujos is a average team. That is a HUGe bat out of the lineup. Howard is important to the Phillies but Pujos is more important to the Cardinals

There is no point in asking this. The Yankee Fans will all say Jeter, and every other team will say Ortiz, Mauer, Morn, Thomas, or Dye.
I would go with Jermaine Dye though. He had far superior stats to Jeter's.

Wildcard: Lance Berkman - super usual numbers, in basic terms actual offensive weapon on team that very nearly made the playoffs.
