We invent excuses almos every time for everything that we need to handle and we don't want to face, why? Is there some gene in our dna? Is in our human being? what could it be? Biological, social, from out-world?

well its kinda the agentic shift, passing the blame onto someone else. for example, the genocide in Rwanda, the people who carried it out said they were only following orders. Its human nature to blame someone or something else for ones own mistakes, after all even subconscioulsy we all think we are perfect in certain ways, and if we make a mistake, we arent perfect, but its good to blame some one else for what has happened that makes un inperfect, as we seek to become the best

It's just easier to have an excuse for something rather than telling somebody your just lazy, or u don't like them, you find them boring, or you just didn't feel like getting ready and coming to work today. Everybody doesn't have to know all your inner thoughts and insecurities, Its none of their business.

Perhaps it called protective instinct as we are going to protect ourselves no matter the cost.
