when you mention Los Angeles the first thing that comes to mind is actors, etc. Probably a lot of cliques in that city for sure. along with shallowness, me- ness and feeling above the rest of the world because of their status. (which we freely give them, bad us).
The midwest is supposed to be a friendly place. You will, of course, find good people everywhere, it just takes more searching in some areas.

I dont know... I moved from NW Indiana to LA when I was 16, and I lived there for about a year. I think I made more friends in that ONE YEAR in LA, than I had my whole life in Indiana... Couldve been that there were more people to hang with... but, I thought they were all really nice and I had a great time getting to know them. I live in Indiana now, and I still talk/chat with all my california buddies.

Yeah I trust you, i'm initially from Pittsburgh, been residing in la on and stale for the previous 8 years... nevertheless am continually satisfied to be again abode in Pittsburgh. I basically wager the position ever you've been born and observed as abode is the bar you study different cities to. particular la has lots to do and be conscious, yet i have yet to be in a city it really is as "tender" as Pittsburgh. basically diverse lifestyle and way of doing issues.

Yup!! Especially if you're not a teen ager!! LA mainstream is very into looks, material wealth and drugs! Good Luck!

San Diego people are friendly. It's hard to find intelligent conversation, but they are very relaxed. Not saying that San Diegans are stupid, but they have their priorities in order. I could never live there-I prefer SF.
