Dragon thinks that'd look AWESOME! Dragon is, however, not necessarily known for her decorating prowess. All one needs to do would be to look inside Dragon's cave and they would know that. So you may not necessarily want to take Dragon's advice on this, even if she does think that'd look AWESOME. :)

I think that decorating the dingy bars would be a great idea.
They have these lights now that are called rope lights that are inside a plastic tubing and I believe look GREAT. It is an LED rope light and looks great.
