Im a democrat and not all democrats are "evil" or dont believe in the bible.. WE BELIEVE IN WHAT IS RIGHT. we do the best we can to make a living and to succed in life but how can we when repubs are allways looking down upon us? And republicans are not bad pepole either. They just dont agree on some of the things pepole say.. It should be time for both partys to grow up and stop being immature.. maybe then you will realize that not every democrat wants to kill a baby or not evrey republican wants to take away from the poor... but my question is When are republicans and democrats going to stop all of this nonsense arguing?

Ps.. sorry for my spelling

Throwing fits and tantrums at each other is their best money maker. You think they are going to give that up? Libertarians have more class. They actually discuss the issues as they are based in the constitution.
All thinking and considerate people should realize that there is more to politics than dems and reps. Maybe your vote won't be for a winner, but if you vote your conscience and back your vote, it has an impact on party platform even in the big leagues. let them know what you want, they will go for your vote..
I look at other answers about how they each believe what they want and do is for the best interest of the country. I disagree. They do what is in the best interest of their party,s interest. It's big business, dem or rep.

I agree that both sides want what they believe is best for the country. I definitely don't think all Dems want abortion on demand, I know to many that are anti abortion to believe that. I don't know any Republican that wants to take anything away from the poor. I do know Republicans who want to stop oppressing the poor. Clinton's welfare program that got people off welfare and working for our prison system was one of his best programs. Lets do something like that again. Both sides have so much to offer, the problem is that the Leaders of the Democratic party have said they will never vote with a Republican even if it is a good Idea. Nancy Pelosi has changed her tune since the election , so maybe there is hope.

Both believe what they want is best for this country. Therefore, what the other half believes is not the best for this country. Out of fear of the other half coming to power and doing what is not best of this country, they argue. It is what politics is all about. To keep them from arguing, they'd have to end up believing the same things, and well, that'll never happen

Good point! I am a republican, but feel exactly as you do! People should realize that the majority of people want what is best for our country, and even if we don't agree on the specific things we stand for, we should respect each other.

They never will...and they'll never "agree to disagree" either.

Both sides believe that they're right and the other is wrong.

That's why there's a saying that goes "...talk about anything but politics and religion".
