I like Brady Quinn, but I'm kind of nervous because the Trojans have a sick defense. And I'm afraid that the USC vertical game will dominate the Irish secondary easily.

Brady Quinn will have a good game this week, I believe. While the DL and LB'ers are in good shape they can be had through the air if the OL is up to 'snuff. Notre Dame's OL is really doing well right now and I think that they will bring their A-game out.
But the main issue for them is the secondary. Victor Abiamiri will put pressure on JDB (John David Booty) but covering Smith and Jarrett is no easy task. Also the 4-headed monster of Gable, Washington, Moody and Johnson is something to be scared of.

Notre Dame has a great team, especially when they have Brady Quinn as their QB, but their chances of winning are pretty bad. USC is one of the toughest teams in the NCAA.

i like ND's chances of winning, which are SLIM TO NONE!
i will agree that notre dame has a pretty good team. but given all the circumstances, it will be tough for the irish to win.
1. playing at USC
2. ND's secondary can't cover USC's receivers
3. USC's defense could shut down ND's offense like they did to oregon and cal.

You shouldn't be nervous about ND's chances of winning, just be nervous about how much they will lose by. If (IF) both teams play their best, ND shouldn't lose by more than 17 points. If ND plays like they have all year they shouldn't lose by more than 28. Let's see, ND beat Purdue and Georgia Tech and barely escaped from a terrible MSU team. What's their ranking again, 6th? Why?
