How about a funny Christmas card? Of course, I don't know how it is in your working environment, but with him being your supervisor, I'd just keep it friendly, with no gifts. That way, it won't look like you're trying to earn brownie points, keeping things professional. <*)))><

Sandylynn has the best answer. I always felt uncomfortable taking gifts from subordinates. Stay with a card. Funny or not your choice. It's the thought that counts.
