I am 14 and pregnant my family and I do not believe in abortion I moved to arizona and the father lives back in Idaho I've decided to give the baby up for adoption, but not to anyone to his grandma and aunt they said it would be the light of their lives so I will give that to them I am going to stay with the baby back in Idaho with his grandma and aunt that way both of us are fully in the child's life and abortion did not happen. I think this is great...or is it? I know I shoudl have never made the mistake in the first place at this age but what's done is done, we both learned from it and it is being handled in a postive way.

I think that you're making a very mature decision. I just want to encourage you to keep in the baby's life as much as possible. Good luck with it. May it be a blessing to you and your family. You're gonna learn a lot from the child, as much as it is going to learn from you.

One thing you need to remember is that when you sign those adoption papers that baby is no longer legally your's or your boyfriend's. The people that adopt are making the decisions about what will happen and how they raise the child. I do think that it is great that you are letting them adopt though. It is better for both you and the baby. You don't have to struggle to provide for the baby and the baby will be surrounded by people that will love and be able to provide for them.

Well little lady sounds to me like you have a happy ending to your story..... just be careful and don't sign anything without a lawyer or a responsible adult you are very young and nieve and there are sick people out in this world that prey on people like you!! Good Luck Sweet heart and god bless you and your baby too!!!

sounds fine to me. the only thing that you have to watch out for is that sometimes adults want what they want and you might have to remind them that the baby is yours. however, if you are giving the baby to them during the adoption, they will have legal custody, not you. so one day if they decided that they don't want you around the baby any longer, there is nothing you can do about it.

its your decision, if you feel you are making a good choice then run with it. I think it is great that you are letting family members adopt the baby. Good Luck!

I think your decision to keep the babby was good but your decision to get pregnant at 14 was bad.

If you are comfortable, and okay with the situation, then i think it's okay. As long as the baby is happy, loved, and taken good care of.
