you need to uninstall your (yahoo?) browser and reinstall from the beginning, i had the same problem and i went to microsoft, and the web sights are listed below

Another thing to look into is your firewall, see if your settings are too strict.

your smtp settings are probably incorrect. go to e mail options

you do not have your put going server properly set up try changing it
