My Grandpa was the only one I could count on growing up. I didn't have a father growing up so my Grandpa did alot of things for me. My mother didn't care to be a parent either so if I would get sick at school, it was my Grandpa that would pick me up. If my mother left me home alone and I got scared, my Grandpa would come pick me up. Grandpa took me fishing and would pack a big picnic lunch for us; he'd take me shopping and buy me the things I actually wanted for my b-day or X-mas; my mother would buy me things SHE wanted then would "ground me" and take my things away and keep them for herself. My Grandpa was the best and I'd give anything to have him here with me! (My Grandpa died in 1990).

I just barely remember my grandpa. He died when I was 6. I can still remember, he was a farmer so he got up early, he'd come down stairs and fix the coffee. When I visited them, I usually slept on a cot by the kitchen. He always peeked in to see if I was awake, if I was awake, he'd take me outside with him. Of all the grand kids I was the only one that he'd let curl up with him in his chair and tell him to read me a story. I miss him so much.

Hmmmm Grandpa's

Well I've had grandma's longer then I have had grandpa's. They can take you shopping,Fishing and to the beach and buy you ice cream.
But they get ill faster then grandma's lol

Um.....You can watch them cut grass and play golf. Beg for things over and over again and they will give in just to get you to stop whining. I did better on the grandma ...

☺

My grandpa is a great cook, he makes me laugh, he likes to watch cool movies, he dresses nice all the time, he smells diffferent than any man I know (but it is a good smell), lets me get away with stuff, and can teach me lots of things

Hummm I would say for your grandson...they can take them for walks in the woods and fishing...teach them all about nature and cars...be a friend to them and tell them stories about their childhood. Grandpa's can be very valuable to a kid that age...
