Marshall Mathers III, aka Eminem, is an inspirartion to me. True some of his lyrics are harsh, but he has thoughts behind most of his work. I love the way he feels about his daughter and makes it known to the world!

do u mean Eminem Mathers?? Maarshall is Eminem's first name.
i think he's an uber talented performer and a very lyrically gifted songwriter.i appreciate the fact that he takes his anger and frustration out on paper. unfortunately, too many people think he's violent because some of the things he acts out in song. i guess the pen really is mightier than the sword!! honestly, he's talented and he's a good, loving father to his daughter and the other little girl he's raised.
have a great day!!
the music i listen to is my therapy, the music he makes is his.

I think that his words are true. He speaks with more conviction than most singers, and talks about subjects that are really bothering most Americans. I don't think his actions are very well thought out, and most of the time doesn't represent what his words do. The man has something though if he can go through what he did and come up. Anything like that is inspiring no matter who dislikes him because millions of people love him and that's what counts. you can't please everyone. Different strokes for different folks you know!

He is a 'great' rapper but nowhere near the 'best' rapper. It also makes me laugh when people consider all of his material as 'classic' or 'meaningful.' No, most of his material is random nonsense rapped up into a track with three to seven meaningful tracks per album. He is ill, but he's definitely one of the more overrated emcees of modern-day history.

Not an inspiration. Someone who sings about wife beating and violence they experienced/committed is not a hero. It's just glorifying actions that he went through that could have been avoided in his life, but chose to participate in and now that he is "reformed" it makes him a "HERO"?
"I beat my wife but don't anymore, so worship me and my music because I was "cured" of the evil that was me - now I just sing about it and hope you pay to hear my story to make me a rich person, and that makes me better than everyone and hope they don't repeat my actions - but IF you do, know that you TOO can become rich like me". That's just showing he could not control his actions like most civilized people do. It teaches kids it's OK to do, even once. It's glorifying the negative, which society tend to find escapism in, without realizing their are actual people who get hurt by these type of actions. They don't see the ramifications.

Not an inspiration. He keeps making himself look stupid by his songs about how he wants to kill his wife. Rap about something else and get therapy Eminem.
