I have a tendency to answer relationship questions with a highly judgemental tone. I go right out and tell the asker if I think he/she is immoral garbage. Should I be more sensitive and try to understand why they may be being improper toward their significant other, or vice versa, or should I tell them if they or their significant other, or whomever, are scum, as I often do?

You're being insensitive as it sounds you offend people when you judge them. Not everyone has the same perspective, upbringing or understanding as the next. Being tolerant and stating your perspective is fine, but maybe it could be done more tactfully. That way you get your point and opinion across and the other person may be more apt to listen rather than dismiss it or be angered by your statement(s). If they don't listen or lash out even then, then they are too stupid or too much of a scumbag to get it anway.

It sounds like you were (past tense) quite insensitive, but it sounds like you aren't as insensitive any more. Only a person with SOME sensitivity about them would even ask this question.

I think you should keep working towards being a bit more sensitive on here because some people are really searching for answers; answers which could change the course of their entire lives, believe it or not.

Ugh... Yea, you should probably hold back the name calling. Its not nice... and most people will probably not take you seriously if you go around calling the people they love names, when you've never met them. Its hard to answer online questions, and even harder to be right about a situation you know very little about. So I always try to put whatever I have to say in a polite and understandable way. Good luck

if your highly judgemental tone has been working for you, then continue. only u know how sensitive people have reacted. if u are offending too much, try to tone it down too.
